2011 Lunar Enduro
Squamish Off Road Cycling Association cordially invites you to the 2011 Murder Mystery Bill Landry Lunar Enduro.
October 22nd, 2011 from 2pm to 8pm.
A murder has been committed in the Alice Lake Provincial Park and we require your assistance to help catch the killer. Clues will be given throughout the evening to help in your decision making. A draw will be made at the end of the evening and a bicycle will be given as a reward to the first sleuth who correctly solves the mystery.
Formal wear is requested as this will be a party to Die for.
Costumed riders with get 2 extra ballots to enter into the draw!
As with last year please remember, NO DOGS, NO GLASS BOTTLES and NO PARKING on the main road.
Registration: starts at 1pm at the group campsites, by Alice lake, the main beach parking.
Cost: $25 per SORCA member $35 for non-members. Teams costs $50 for members

Reminders & Rules
1) no dogs. Period!
2) no parking on the main road only in the parking lots and must pay for parking
3) no open alcohol outside of the group site area.
A snack may be provide after the race.

Vollies: Can’t race but want to help out?
Marshalls: 2 spots and assuming blocks of 2 hours each would need a total of 6 bodies.
Parking helpers : 2
Lap Counters: 2-3
Set-up Crew (for the group sites starting at 11:00am ish that same morning): 2-3

Mac- There will be a few clues hidden in the woods throughout the event, some being posted early, some being posted later on. At the end of the evening everyone will be given a ballot (those in costume will get 2 extra ballots) and they will then fill out what they feel is the correct answer. We will place all entries into a hat and the first correct answer on the ballot will win the bike. We will leave the clues up long enough to have both people in a pair see them. I hope that helps to explain things
Question: I don’t really get the format wrt the ‘clues/puzzle’ part. This is enduro right so only one rider per team on trail at any time? So how does the mystery stuff get worked out? Sounds super fun.. I just don’t understand the format.
We forgot to mention that costumed riders will get 2 extra ballots! There is also another category we forgot: Mixed. Can’t wait!!
