CINCO #7 – Wednesday July 4 – Tantalus Bike Shop

Almost 25 years ago, Tantalus Bike Shop was the original sponsor of the SORCA Loonie series, as they used to be known, and has supported the Toonie series every year since. Come on out this Wednesday, July 4, for Tantalus Bike Shop’s first Cinco!

The race will start and finish just off the patio at Norman Rudy’s Pub, with drinks courtesy of the always delicious Phillips Brewing.

Meet at 6pm at Norman Rudy’s. Race starts at 6:30.

The Course will head out through the old golf course, linking into Jacks trail, then head up 50 shades part 1 and 2. Riders will descend Mikes Loop, and Credit Line, and make a left on to Jacks trail where they will pass through the Speed Zone. Signage will denote the beginning of the speed zone, where riders top speeds will be recorded with a radar gun. Riders will head down The Covenant and back down the 18th fairway to the finish. For those who didn’t have clean race down Credit Line in Cinco #6…here’s your opportunity for redemption!

As always, please bring your timing tag, as well as your $5 to the afterparty (or if you’re Holden Jones, bring $5.75 in quarters in a ziploc bag). If you have friends in town that aren’t SORCA members, it’s $20 for a one day membership inclusive of the apres. Trail Passes are NOT sorca memberships.
