Tantalus Trail Series
The Tantalus Trail Series is a point to point stage race series focused primarily on technical descending, with a small uphill component. Popularly referred to an an Enduro, this is essentially a single stage Enduro race. Trails will range from difficult to very difficult, with the course descriptions listed below.
We will include an easier double stage, double points race on June 27th, to wrap up the series. Riders will be required to meet at the designated start point at 6pm. Riders will leave in one minute intervals, and have their time recorded by Spruce Race Timing’s RFID system. All riders are required to have registered for a SORCA membership PRIOR to arriving at each trail series race, and have $2 for each race. Full results will be posted to the Spruce Race Timing website following each race. Points will be awarded for each race, with 80 points awarded to first, 79 to second, 78 to third, etc. Only your top 5 results will count towards your overall series points total. There are 6 races in total.
We will be updating the full course list shortly, stay tuned. 2017 Trail Series Schedule:
