September 5th Social Ride – The Last Social of the Year

Since this is the last Social of the year, we’re going to try to make it the best! Two rides, each classics. And following the rides we’ll continue the socializing around a fire with amazing food and SMORES! I hear Mitchell might even be showing off his Martha Stewart skills and baking something! You don’t want to miss this week! Really. DON”T MISS IT.

We’re meeting at the Bean Brackendale at 6pm and taking off on our ride at 6:15. Steve, who owns the Bean is one of the maintainers of Rigs, so thank him for his work if he’s around.

‘Chill’ Group

A classic, and for all the right reasons! Meander through the forest before doing some up and downs on the ever so flow-y ‘White Rabbit’. Then glide down Wonderland, hoping over roots and flying over small bridges.

  • White Rabbit
  • Wonderland

‘Thrill’ Group

This is the ride all you thrill people have been waiting for! I’ll bring a couple extra pairs on underwear just in case anyone needs them after the ride. FYI: I’ll personally be walking quite a few section.

  • Climb up to Rigs in Zen. The views are AMAZING and the trail with test your skillz. Your mad skillz.
  • After Rigs we’ll finish on Plural of Nemesis, which by the way, is nemeses or (rare) nemesi. Yes, you will be tested on this fact later.

See you all out there!

As a newbie in Squamish (1 year , 2 months) I’d like to take the time to thank those who I met the day before on the social road ride who told me about this ride and the dinner/drinks and desserts afterwards.

I’ll have to show my appreciation by making plans to be a host at my own house in Valleycliff.

  2. Eric says:

It’s quite a bit harder than Credit Line.

  3. Jamie says:

havent ridden Zen either. is it comparable to Credit Line?

  4. Eric says:

If you can ride Rigs In Zen, then you can ride Plural. They are both double black, but you can walk down sections that you don’t feel up to. I know I’ll be walking a few. They are a step up from Entrails, but not Larvacide or Cougar Ride level.

  5. Jamie says:

are there any comparable trails to Plural of Nemisis? having not ridden that one before, I wanted to get an idea if i could handle it??

  6. Eric says:

    Bring your lawn chairs!
