Social Ride for July 25th
We’re meeting at 6pm at the gate to the gravel pit just off Tantalus Rd. We’ll roll out at 6:15pm. The after party will be in close to our starting point.
We’re going to be doing something a little different this week if the sun is out Wednesday evening!
Alice Lake Hangout Group
Riding in the sun can leave you prone to overheating, so let’s take it easy.
BRING YOUR BATHING SUIT, or whatever else you think you might need!
The ‘Alice Lake Hangout Group’ will ride from the gravel pit up to Alice lake via. Jacks trail. Once there we will take a long break (around 1 hour) before returning on the same trail we came out on. Our easiest ride of the year!
Feel free to bring a backpack with snacks and whatever else you might need. If you have a family Sorca membership, bring the kids down!
Riding Group
A nice intermediate ride that everyone can enjoy!
- Jacks to Alice Lake
- Up the logging rd to Bob MacIntosh Trail.
- Down Bob Mac and up Rock and Roll
- Down the Corners and onto the Mashiter
- Rollar Coaster to Perth and then back up to Jacks.
- End on Brackentail.
If the weather is a little cool, we have another few rides in mind. Here are a few names of trails to give the advanced people a couple ideas. Plural of Nemisis, Value Added, Icey Hole of Death.
