Located on primarily private lands, the Brackendale network (Aka ‘Dump trails’ or ‘Ray Peters’) is often lauded for its family-friendly trail network, perfect for a rip with the kids or a mellow evening pedal. It routinely boasts the first snow-free riding in Squamish and also plays host to the Pedal to the Metal elementary school mtb series.

There’s not a tremendous amount of elevation gain or loss in Brackendale because of its valley bottom location. This makes it a perfect place to take an easy lap or bring new riders and kids for a mellow loop. Some trails in the network such as Wonderland and Live Wire feature low-grade, flowy descents. Other trails in the network such as Grimm’s Forest even feature short paved sections and make for a great XC introduction.
