Construction Update for FortisBC’s Eagle Mountain – Woodfibre Gas Pipeline (EGP) Project in Squamish

A message from the Fortis BC team:

As construction has advanced, we’ve been able to reopen two network crossings: the northern Connector and the Endo trails. See attached map for reference. Please note while these crossings are currently open, they may need to be temporarily closed during certain construction activities. We will provide advance notice when possible if we expect an extended duration.

Detour signage will be posted, and when closures are required, spotters will be onsite during working hours to help guide trail users safely to the alternative network crossing. When crossing, please stay on marked paths and use caution as trucks and heavy machinery will be operating in the area.

For everyone’s safety, we ask that all trail users follow posted signage and respect any closures in place.

SORCA would like to thanks FortisBC and Diamond Head Land Company for their continued correspondence and communications regarding the project.
