'Trail for All' (Working Name Only) REOI

‘Trail for All’ is a collaborative project between the Squamish Off-Road Cycling Association (SORCA), and the Squamish Nation Youth MTB Program (SNYMTBP), supported by the landowners -  Sqomish Sea and Sky Development (SSSD). This project will create a continuous green-rated, multi-use, multi-directional trail extending from the intersection of Highway 99 and Squamish Valley Road to the existing north terminus of ‘Sweet Judy’. This is roughly 1.7km in length, and the project is designed to be inclusive, providing a space where people of all abilities can ride while fostering Indigenous reconciliation through direct partnerships with Squamish Nation youth.

SORCA is seeking a qualified contractor to construct the trail. The primary objective is to deliver a sustainable, high-quality trail experience that aligns with the project's vision of accessibility and community collaboration.

Below is a link to the formal Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) for this project. Interested trail-building contractors are invited to review the document and submit their credentials for consideration in the upcoming selection process.

Dig for Dave - Sunday, May 31st

Every year, our community comes together to give some love to one of Dave Reid's iconic trails, share stories, and celebrate the incredible impact he had on our network. If you knew Dave personally or simply ride his trail network artwork, this day is a chance to give back to the trails he dedicated so much time to creating.

This year, we will be working on Boney Elbows, supported by SRAMSunwolf, and Sea to Sky Sports Physio. No previous trail-building experience is required, and all ability levels are welcome to join!

  • When: Sunday, May 31, from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm
