Community forest update

SORCA's advocacy team has been working together with the Squamish Community Forest and its professional forestry team at Chartwell Resource Group to reduce the effects of upcoming logging in the Cheekye Basin on the trail network. The harvest area is located within Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) Territory south of the Cheekye River, southeast of Cat Lake and east of Alice Lake Park near Manboobs, Bob McIntosh Memorial Trail, Dead End Loop and Mini Tracks.
