Wonderland Trail Update
A few weeks ago, we shared photos of volunteers and crew from SORCA and the Squamish Trail Society hauling rocks and filling gabion baskets in advance of the southernmost Dryden Creek bridge replacement. Today, we’re stoked to show you the result: a brand-new, adaptive bike-accessible bridge on Wonderland.
Thanks to grants from the BC Parks Enhancement Fund and the BC Rehab Foundation, SORCA and the Squamish Trails Society, along with the trail crew, contractors, and volunteers, have made a number of key improvements to the 3km-long beginner-friendly Wonderland trail. Thank you to all the volunteers who came out over the last few months to contribute to these improvements.
